Mrs S – Pocklington
Our brief for this project was to create a light, clean practical space and to renew a kitchen over 20 years old.
Our Full Project Management and Installation Service was chosen by the customer, which involved us taking full ownership and responsibility for all aspects of the project from initial concept to completion.
This began with a full site survey, including a review and a report on current electrical & plumbing standards. Once we completed this we began putting together a design that was both attractive and practical to the customers brief. We presented this to the customer using our latest CAD software.
Upon commission of the project we constructed a timeline of events for the project which we organised and supervised to ensure they were completed to the correct high standard. This included; full rip out and disposal of all waste from site, external welfare facilities for the workmen to minimise disruption to the remainder of the home, upgrade of consumer unit and electrical facilities to bring up to current standards, renewal of plumbing, plastering, floor tiling, cabinetry & appliance installation, decorating and quartz worktop installation. We also installed new ceiling lights, internal door furniture and new door stops.
Following completion and handover, the customer commented, ‘All of the men who worked in my home were very pleasant and I would recommend every one of them’. The customer also mentioned, ‘It’s a beautiful kitchen and I even just enjoy standing in here admiring it’.
The kitchen selected was from our Milano Collection and is the Cranbrook Sage & Stone. We used Bosch appliances with a Franke sink and tap. The worktop is Islington Ivory 30mm Quartz. We also used the Bottega Caliza porcelain floor tile from Porcelanosa.
